Nigel is a Senior Lecturer in Film Production specialising in screenwriting. 

His background is in film and television drama production where he has directed over 400 hours of network television globally across a broad range of platforms including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Netflix, and Amazon.

Nigel has received five BAFTAS for his work and has been recognised internationally by several awards. He has also produced and directed a variety of theatre productions. 

He has also written several commissioned screenplays and stage plays. 

Nigel also sits on the BBC drama commissioning panel and the Monaco Film Festival jury.
